Main photo of antique 8 day Strut timepiece seen from the front with the slightly bent finial at top visible leaning a little to the left. This timepiece is very ornate with white metal scrollwork detail to the main body with 2 wide front feet and a pointed top. The cream face has a golden rim with circular filigree gilt disc at the centre. The numerals have scroll design to some adding to the scrollwork detail of this wonderful antique timepiece. The back of the clock has a barrel which covers the mechanism and the back end is propped up on 2 thin scrolled feet.

Main photo of antique French Sèvres clock seen with the clock front facing forward. The angle of the shot is slightly raised looking diagonally down. This is a very regal looking piece with the majority of the clock being in gilt and only the clock face in blue porcelain numbers in Roman numerals The hands are also gilt and there is a circular area at the centre with different coloured flowers. The artist sat on the top of the clock is looking up and over to the left and poised with a round canvas in his left hand and his pallet by his hip. He looks as if he is in the painting process. To either side of the clock face there is some foliage and swirls of gilt.
