  • Art Deco silver plated cocktail shaker. Fabulous cocktail shaker & pitcher with scallop detail to the handle and weighted cork stopper to the spout. The lid is not original but works a treat and compliments the overall design of the piece. In very good condition for its almost antique age - c1930s. Measures 80mm in diameter at base, 190mm long from handle to spout, 100mm wide and 230mm tall with top in place.
  • Antique apostle set in sterling silver. A complete set of 6 apostle teaspoons with tongs & sifter/strainer. Each item has scalloped bowls with twist handles. Full hallmark to each piece for Birmingham assay c1901. The case lid has one side edge missing and is missing the hinges so not attached to the base. Spoons measure 102mm long, tongs measure 90mm long and the sifter measures 103mm long.
  • Sterling silver sauce boat with 2 handles and spouts. Nice solid piece of London assayed sterling silver with a wonderful geometric form that is typical of the Deco era. Full hallmark to the side c1928. Measures 54mm in diameter at base, 120mm from spout to spout and 125mm from handle to handle and 85mm tall at handles.
  • Vintage Henry Clifford Davis Birmingham silver and enamel boxed set of 6 coffee spoons hallmarked c1959. Beautiful enamel detail with a different flower design to back of each spoon. There is a slight blemish of the enamel to one spoon at the handle. Each spoon measures 80 x 0.5 x 15 mms. The measurements below are for the box.
  • Sterling silver and lapis lazuli box. A good size small sterling silver box with a large lapis lazuli cabochon to the lid. The stone makes the lid top heavy which gives weight to a tight closing box. The lapis stone is of very good quality. Hallmarked 925 for sterling silver to the base.
  • Small and sleek sterling silver sauce boat. Wonderfully stylish and aesthetically pleasing small sauce boat in sterling silver. Full hallmark to the side for Birmingham assay c1901. Some small dark spots.
  • Art Deco sterling silver bowl. Fabulous octagonal 2 handled footed bowl by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths c1930 Sheffield assay. Very typical of Art Deco era with aesthetically pleasing design and functional practicality. Nice scalloped pattern to 6 sides. Fully hallmarked to the base. Foot base measures 114mm in diameter. Weighs 586 grams.
  • Vintage Danish silver and yellow enamel salts. A fabulous cased pair of salts in Danish sterling silver and golden yellow enamel with matching spoons. Leaf design in the enamel on both salt bowls and spoon handles. Hallmarked Meka-Sterling-Danish-925 to inside rim of salt bowl base and to back of spoons. Salts measure 28mm in diameter at base, 50mm in diameter at top and 25mm tall. Spoons measure 60mm long.
  • Vintage Wee Willie Winkle chamberstick and snuffer. Small sterling silver chamberstick with hammered detail to dish and sconce housing. The snuffer is housed at opposing end of handle and attached by a chain. Hallmarked to base of chamberstick, the inside rim of the detachable sconce and to the snuffer for London assay and made by W. F. Knight Ltd.
  • Antique Russian silver and niello enamel fork and spoon. Cased fork and spoon set with dark blue niello enamel scrollwork decoration to each. There is an empty cartouche to the top of both fork and spoon for personalisation. Full Russian hallmark to the back of each handle c1868. Both fork and spoon measure 155mm long.
  • Vintage glass scent bottle with a sterling silver and purple guilloche enamel top. Art Deco cut glass scent bottle with a sterling silver screw top finished with purple guilloche enamel at the top. In excellent condition throughout. Full hallmark to side of top for London assay c1927 with makers initials CD.
  • Vintage sterling silver hand mirror. Solid silver hand mirror in good condition for its "almost antique" age with a few minor dinks to the silver and a little clouding to the left side of bevelled edge mirror. There is an empty cartouche for personalisation. Fully hallmarked to the side of mirror for Birmingham assay and made by Bravingtons Ltd c1922.
  • Vintage 3 piece sterling silver cruet set. Elegant set in a classic design consisting of a salt and mustard pot with blue glass lining and spoons and a pepper pot. Each piece is fully hallmarked for London assay and made by David Sutton & Sons. All pieces date to c1949 except the salt spoon which is c1950. Salt measures 45mm in diameter & 30mm tall, pepper pot measures 31mm in diameter and 75mm tall and mustard pot measures 65mm wide to handle, 44mm wide and 47mm tall. All pieces in good order with only some blackening to inside of salt.
  • Pair of vintage sterling silver ashtrays. Identical pair of Birmingham assayed sterling silver ashtrays made by Barker Ellis silver company c1989. Both in very good condition with minor dinks and one has a slightly misshapen corner. 177grams.
  • Art Nouveau style sterling silver vesta case. A generously sized vesta match case in 925 sterling silver with a lovely floral design very typical of Nouveau era. Stamped 925 on inner rim, this vesta looks as though it has never been used hence dating as modern. Very likely for use on a chatelaine with a ring clasp to the side.
  • Antique sterling silver pin tray. Highly decorated oval tray with scalloped edging and patterned to inside in a very typical Art Nouveau design. Fully hallmarked to tray edge for Birmingham assay c1901 and made by Henry Matthews.
  • An almost antique sterling silver matchbook case c1929. Full hallmark to inside for Chester assay and made by S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd. Initialled FMS to the cartouche. Weighs 37grams.
  • Set of 8 vintage American corn on the cob holders in the form of corn. Each holder is hallmarked sterling on both sides of corn husk and measures approximately 72mm in length. Comes in original box which has been written on to identify contents! There is some minor staining to a few of the pieces.
  • A single sterling silver toast rack in a typical aesthetic Art Deco design. Full hallmark to one side for the silver jubilee of King George V c1935. Length from handle to handle at top is 95mm.
  • Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth ware cruet set comprising of 2 salts, 1 pepper pot and s mustard pot c1900. Each piece is topped in fully hallmarked sterling silver for Birmingham assay. Salts measure 46mm in diameter at base and top, 60mm at widest and 36mm tall. Pepper pot measures 32mm in diameter at base, 28mm in diameter at top, 46mm at widest and 82mm tall and is also missing 3 petals on the pale blue flowers. Condiment pot measures 45mm in diameter at base and 40mm at top, 60mm at widest to handle edge and 83mm at tallest.
  • Matching pair of antique sterling silver jam spoons. Wonderful design spoons typical of the Art Nouveau era. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay and made by William Batt & Sons c1904. Each spoon measures 152mm long and bowl area measuring approximately 50mm by 36mm.
  • Sterling silver finger purse or handbag assayed in Birmingham and made by F. D. Long c1916. This bag has seen a lot of usage with several dinks throughout and would have had a lining inside which is now missing. Full hallmark with makers initials on one side and lion passant & date letter hallmark to other side. There is also a lion passant on the ring. Drop length from ring is 195mm.
  • Vintage sterling silver scoop spoon by Deakin and Francis. Long slim hammered silver spoon bowl with loop necked bird handle giving an impression of a swan at rest. Full hallmark to back edge of spoon bowl for Birmingham assay c1971 and initialled to centre of spoon bowl.                      Bowl measures 80mm long by 44mm at widest. Whole spoon measures 107mm long.
  • Antique sterling silver pepper pot. Elaborately decorated silver pepper pot made by Charles Fox and assayed in London c1838. Pull off top with full hallmark on the inside rim. Measures 40mm in diameter at base.
  • Antique sterling silver spoon with a twist handle and cupid to the handle tip. Full hallmark to back of cupid for c1882 London assay. The shallow spoon bowl measures 37mm by 30mm.
  • Antique French pierced silver ladle. Quality gilt silver ladle with very fine pierce work to ladle bowl and face of an aristocrat to handle tip. Worn hallmark to ladle handle at front above the bowl and 3 hallmarks to the back. Attributed for Paris assay c1819-1835. Bowl measures approximately 65mm in diameter.
  • Small vintage casket shaped box in 800 Continental silver. Highly embossed silver work to all 4 sides with a village scene to lid. Looks a little lopsided with right side slightly lower than right. Hinged lid shuts nice and tight although rattles when closed if shaken. Hallmarked 800 to the base.
  • A modern 925 sterling silver cartridge pen. A wonderfully stylish silver pen with an enpty cartouche on the cap for personalisation. Comes in original box which has some minor signs of wear. Pen measures 142mm long. Unused cartridge included.
  • Pair of antique sterling silver lemon forks. Made exactly 100 years ago in 1924, these fine quality forks were assayed in Sheffield and made by Charles William Fletcher & Son Ltd. They come in their own fitted leather case with retail sellers details on the inside of lid. There is some wear to the velvet & silk interior but otherwise in good condition. Forks measure 105mm long.
  • Art Deco style small sterling silver double photo frame. Sweet silver photo frame decorated with pansy flowers. Hallmarked 925 for sterling silver with full import hallmark to the back. Measures 55mm at longest at base, 18mm at widest and 47mm at tallest. Photo area measures 22mm x 16mm.
  • A small modern sterling silver photo frame in the Art Nouveau style. Pretty frame with a single tulip flower coming off to the left side of frame as if to embrace the photo. Hallmarked 925 for sterling silver to the back. Measures 82mm at the base, 20mm at widest and 100mm at tallest (Top of tulip). Photo area measures 50mm by 40mm.
  • Antique pair of sterling silver and cut glass lily shaped vases. Full hallmark for London assay c1900 and made by W. M. Comyns. Each vase measures approximately 60mm in diameter at base and 150mm tall at low glass end and 185mm at tallest.
  • Antique sterling silver heart dish. Fine quality pierced sterling silver raised dish in the form of a love heart. Fully hallmarked for London assay c1891 and made by W. M. Comyns. Measures 160mm at longest, 146mm at widest and 25mm at tallest.
  • Antique sterling silver cigarette case by Joseph Gloster. c1901 Birmingham assay. Intricate silverwork decoration to both sides of outer case with empty cartouche for personalisation. Interior is gilt silver with elastic to one side only. Full & short hallmark to interior and lion passant stamp to thumb grip on exterior. Closes tight with no gaps.
  • Antique sterling silver paper clip with imported London assay hallmark. c1901 Spring coil in good order. Measures 80mm long, 47mm at widest and 22mm at tallest.
  • The English silver cased spoons have a hallmark of Sheffield 1965. The 6 silver spoons are sitting in a red velvet lined case and are all in excellent condition. Engraved with the letter P to tip of each spoon handle.

  • Art Deco era sterling silver matchbook case. Nearly obsolete item today that's hardly ever seen let alone used. A few signs of wear to exterior. Closes tight. Hallmarked to both sides inside for c1933 Birmingham assay and made by Sanders & McKenzie. Vintage matchbook included.
  • Victorian sterling silver spirit cup in the form of a thimble with raised wording at top of cup reading "Just A Thimbleful". Shield shaped empty cartouche for personalisation. c1876 Birmingham assayed by Samuel Clark. Lovely piece of historic Victorian humour? Has been well loved & used with a few dinks. Gilt interior in good condition. Measures 18mm in diameter at base and 42mm across the top.
  • Very small antique sterling silver pot c1816 Birmingham assay by Samuel Pemberton. Decoration to the lid with unknown design. Tablet? Coffee Bean? Eye of Sauron? Hallmark to both inside halves. Small dint to the base. Measures 24mm in diameter and 6mm deep.
  • Antique Victorian sterling silver handled curling irons. Fine pair of curling irons with sterling silver handles decorated with cherubs. c1906 Birmingham Assayed & made by H. V. Pitney & Co. Width at widest when closed 54mm at handle ends.
  • A vintage boxed set (6) of solid 925 silver napkin rings. They are in their original cardboard box which is still functional though the surface is a slightly worn in parts. The napkin rings are inspired by vintage Oman bangle designs . They are each individually hallmarked with 925 and the makers mark of one of the finest jewellers in Oman - Jawahir Jewellers. Each napkin ring is in excellent condition. The total silver weight of the napkins is 339 grams . The diameter approximately of the napkins is 45 mm and the thickness is 2-3 mms. The largest is 58mm in diameter and 25 mms in height.
  • A vintage solid silver hip flask with a hinge bayonet twist cap and engine turned decoration . It is stamped sterling silver to base and weighs 120 grams. There is some slight scratches to top of bayonet arm. There is a vacant panel for a small inscription.
  • An engraved silver plate on copper French jewellery box . It dates from about 1900-1940.The lid is engraved with ‘The morning of the bridal party ( Le matin de la noce)’. There is considerable wear to the plate on the lid that allows the underlying copper to shine through also minor wear to the base. The box has its a original padded satin interior with a little wear to the silk. The box weighs 298grams.
  • A Victorian silver gilt ice bucket with frosted glass barrel. It is hallmarked for 1885 London and made by George Fox. There is a slight loss of gilt from the inside rim and a slight indentation in the silver just above the base (please see last photo). A minor repair has been made to stick some of the silver gilt to the glass and a nut based glue has been used. We therefore recommend this item not be used for nut allergy sufferers. The barrel of the ice bucket is 90 mms high, 112mms in diameter across the top and the handle is 12mms at its widest width.
  • Pair of Art Nouveau sterling silver salts c1902 with sterling silver spoons c1930. The salts stand on 4 ball feet and designed in a very typical Nouveau style. All 4 pieces are fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay. Salts by Matthew John Jessop and spoons by J.C Ltd. Each salt measures 22mm square at ball feet, 48mm square at top and 25mm tall. Each spoon measures 52mm long.
