The colours are uniform and simple - just cream, Cornish blue and black and the patterns of her clothing and the scales of fish make this piece strikingly cheerful and a sight to behold. Both the fish and woman have a cream base colour. The fish has black fin, tail, eye & smiling mouth and the scales are blue as is the eye ball. The woman is wearing black and cream chequered trousers, blue shoes, blue and cream dotted top with cream long sleeves with blue stripes. Her hair and facial features are all in black and she is donning a wide smile. She stands on a base of cream with blue wave pattern around the sides. There is a starfish in the background to enhance the seaside theme although in this case, it was probably unnecessary!

The handle appears to be part of the foliage like a vine stalk. The uranium glass is the actual basket which could appear like the lower half of a hard boiled egg. The colour could be described as milky minty yellow. The wonderful thing about this item is that whilst this side is decorated with flowers, the opposite side is without decoration so on your 'no bling' days you can opt for egg shell.

On either side of this flower is what could be a bee form-a round cut iolite with 2 vertically set marquise cut stones which could be wings. Next up is an oval cut stone followed by another bee like form. The iolite stones are slightly colour changing from a deep blue to a deep purple.

The minimal decoration consists of 3 raised lines with small ribbony areas to each corner as well as at the centre along the top and bottom. Definitely a frame that is simplistically pretty but also will not detract from the image at all. Nice gift item - just add photo!

The top of the jar and base area are natural stoneware pottery whilst the central area is a beautiful shade of green called shiwan which is like a dark forest green with a hint of jade.3 of the 6 sides are on display. There is a foliage theme to the decoration on the 6 sides of the pot under the green glaze. A single white orchid is displayed just off centre to the bottom right.
