There is a small diamond in the very centre with 3 inward set oval cut amethysts on 3 sides followed by an outer frame of gold with seed pearls like an upside down club card suite. There are additional single seed pearls on tulip like gold setting sticking out from the dips of the 3 sided centre and finished with another oval cut amethyst hanging from the bottom.

The colours are uniform and simple - just cream, Cornish blue and black and the patterns of her clothing and the scales of fish make this piece strikingly cheerful and a sight to behold. Both the fish and woman have a cream base colour. The fish has black fin, tail, eye & smiling mouth and the scales are blue as is the eye ball. The woman is wearing black and cream chequered trousers, blue shoes, blue and cream dotted top with cream long sleeves with blue stripes. Her hair and facial features are all in black and she is donning a wide smile. She stands on a base of cream with blue wave pattern around the sides. There is a starfish in the background to enhance the seaside theme although in this case, it was probably unnecessary!

There is a rock of blue lapis lazuli in the background to offer a feeling of a lake.

The decorative detail on the silver is quite minimalist by Art Nouveau style standards but unmistakeably visible in a subtle capacity. The lower end of the frame is widest tapering a little at the top. The photo area remains a uniform rectangular shape. The minimal decoration consists of 3 raised lines with small ribbony areas to each corner as well as at the centre along the top and bottom. Definitely a frame that is simplistically pretty but also will not detract from the image at all. Nice gift item - just add photo!

Across the silver band is an overlaid silver piece of a short bar with small ball ends then on one side of this bar is a heart like shape forged from another piece of silver. The band is flat with no fancy detail to shoulders.
