Ideal for fruits with outer skin like oranges. The lidded bowl has more depth and is decorated with a vine of grapes around the top rim and also around the handle of the lid - perhaps for storing grapes keeping flying insects away as the lattice work is tighter with less gaps on this piece. Although some minor damage, these are still good quality and very usable Italian ceramic pieces.

The vintage 2 Italian lattice work pieces of china are highly decorative and would display well in a china cabinet along with other similar and delicate vintage items. There is some damage to the pieces commensurate with age but it does not detract from the beauty of the pieces. To care for the vintage 2 Italian lattice workpieces, we suggest light dust with a soft cloth when required.
