Antique sterling silver portable/travel scent bottle. An intricately embossed sterling silver scent bottle with floral design throughout. There is a generously sized empty cartouche for personalisation. Gilt interior to lid and rim with original glass inner and stopper. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham assay c1904. Measures 28mm in diameter, 33mm at widest at hinge and 76mm tall. Weight 60 grams.

The portable silver scent bottle is a beautiful example of Edwardian craftsmanship. The bottle dates from Birmingham in 1904 and consists of an inner glass container with its original stopper. The outer body is highly decorative in scrolls and floral designs in silver.
To maintain the condition of the antique portable scent bottle, we recommend polishing it with a soft cloth to preserve its shine.
