An Art Nouveau watercolour. A wonderful watercolour c1900 of a finely dressed lady looking out to sea with big cats at her feet in the manner of Edmund Dulac’s “Circe, the Enchantress”. Some foxing commensurate with age. Back recently enforced to secure 2 mounts. Inner mount measures 370mm by 315mm. Collect from store only.

The Art Nouveau watercolour dates to 1900 after Edmund Dulac’s “Circe, the Enchantress”.
The delightful subject includes a surreal scene of a lady walking with her pet cats in a predominantly blue hue.
To maintain the condition of the Art Nouveau watercolour, we suggest using a duster to keep the glass protector clean and clear.
