Czech made Chřibská glass bowl. Eye catching vibrant pink iris flower shaped bowl with a purple centre. Most probably manufactured for use as an ashtray, it will enhance any home as a piece of art glass. Designed by Josef Hospodka c1964-1970. There are some minor signs of wear especially scratch marks to the base and a small nick as seen in photo. Photo looking down at the bowl straight down from above. There are 3 'petals' one in top right, one in bottom right and one to centre left of the photo. The outer areas of the bowl are in pink while the centre is purple. Small narrow channels are visible at the outside centre of each petal where cigarettes were placed in its past life as an ashtray! (Still can be an ashtray) Colours are amazing - like a strawberry jelly dessert!
