Novelty Silver Punch Vesta

A novelty sterling silver vesta in the form of Mr. Punch. A mid century cast sterling silver Mr Punch vesta with the opening and striker at the base. Hallmarked 925 to top of one arm. Very well considered with the shape fitting neatly around the ball of the forefinger allowing the vesta to be opened by a flick of the thumb. Measures 56mm tall, 38mm at longest and 17mm at deepest. Weight 57.9 grams.

The novelty silver Punch vesta is a realistic representation of the comical figure of Mr Punch. The vesta has an opening at the base to house matches and is also the site of the striker.
The mid-century collectable item would be a fun and unusual addition to a Vesta collection.
