This snuff box has a curved bottom for ease of fitting into pockets - it could also be used as an executive toy on the desk rocking back and forth. This photo shows the box from one of the sides on display showing the engine turned decoration which extends across the whole box. The lid is well camouflaged as it sits flush with the curved top but in this photo it is to the left with hinges visible to the right. A single pink flower rests to the right foreground of the box.

The turban has gilt and silver stripes and she is wearing a gilt gown although only the neckline area can be seen. She has a strange look about her face like she is a little crazed or drunk - a very quirky piece indeed!
