Desirable aged patina, leather bound, opening to reveal leather writing skiver, letter storage & 2 inkwells with brass lids. There is a note inside inscribed "To Dorothea from her beloved Papa 1910" Collect from store only. Main photo of box seen closed and from the front. The aged patina of the leather cover is clearly shown with considerable wear especially on the lefthand side. There is a red ribbon tied from the brass handle in the centre of the box top which holds the original key.
