Desirable aged patina, leather bound, opening to reveal leather writing skiver, letter storage & 2 inkwells with brass lids. The antique correspondence box is by Melliship & Harris of London, dating from 1869-1927, and has a leather exterior featuring a decorative brass fitting.
The box interior includes a writing slope, two inkwells, and a letter rack. This rare and unique item would be a collector’s delight and be a wonderful keepsake for years to come.
