George III sterling silver snuff box. An unusual engine turned sterling silver snuff box with an arched base which makes the box rock when put down. When the lid is open the box leans onto the lid end which steadies the box. Gilt silver interior is in good condition with only minor signs of wear. Full hallmark to the inside rim of box for Birmingham assay and made by William Lea & Co c1811.
