The opaque glass top, shaped like a crocus flower, is in a pale blue grey with the top rim and indents to the side in gilt. The bronzed silver plate base has 3 feet and is decorated with birds at the end of the scrolls. Glass area of vase measures 265mm tall including the part that slots into base and 80mm in diameter across the top. The base is 180mm tall feet are 132mm apart.
