This symbolic work in Art Nouveau manner shows 3 monkeys as symbols for the Spanish-American war 1898, the war originating from the Cuban struggle for independence from Spain. A truly beautiful and rare piece of exceptional art. Stamped and numbered to the back.
  • Asprey's Japanese woman and screen. Vintage Asprey's solid sterling silver figure of a Japanese Geisha woman performing a dance in front of a 4 fold sterling silver screen. Hallmarked to the base of the figure and to back of each screen fold for Asprey's of London c1991. A fan is missing from figures right hand. A stunning piece of quality collectable sterling silver. Figure measures approximately 85mm tall, 45mm at widest and 40mm at deepest and weighs 253gms. Screen measures 130mm fully extended by 90mm tall and weighs 113gms.
  • 1950s Steinböck Studio lidded pot. Beautiful enamel pot in a creamy off white, hand-painted with a floral design in vibrant greens and blues & all accentuated with 24 karat gold leaf. In excellent condition throughout with no damage to the enamel just wear of the gold leaf around the pot opening as would be expected. Steinböck mark to the base. Measures approximately 64mm in diameter.
  • Vintage dragonfly on lotus root stand. A lovely small bronze pen or brush stand in the form of a dragonfly alighted on a length of lotus root. Fine quality piece. Stamp signature to the base. Measures approximately 90mm at longest, 20mm at widest and 36mm at tallest.
  • Moorcroft 'Castle Garden' vase. Issued in a limited edition of 500, this vase was designed by Debbie Hancock and dated c1997. Measures 45mm in diameter to the base, 75mm in diameter at widest part and 38mm in diameter at opening.
  • c1907 Small silver coffee pot with cups. Fabulous coffee set consisting of a small antique sterling silver coffee pot with ebony finial and handle, and a pair of small square white porcelain cups & saucers. The cups and saucers are accentuated with gold on the handles & rims and to finish the set is a pair of small sterling silver coffee spoons with ebony coffee bean to the tip of each handle. Each piece of silver is hallmarked for Birmingham assay and made by Heath & Middleton with additional retailers stamp to base of coffee pot for Albert Barker Ltd, New Bond St, London. The coffee pot measures 92mm in diameter at base165mm at widest at handle, 155mm at tallest by finial and weighs 274.2gms. Cups measure 30mm square at base, 55mm at widest at handle, 40mm square at top and 48mm high. Spoons measure 95mm long.
  • Moorcroft 'lily come home' vase. Modern Moorcroft vase designed by Emma Bossons in a repeated design pattern of white lily flowers. Signed and dated to the base. Measures 80mm in diameter at base, 120mm in diameter at most bulbous part and 57mm in diameter across the top.
  • Mid century modern Murano glass perfume atomiser. A gorgeous hexagonal Murano Sommerso perfume atomiser bottle in aqua green and blue finished with a brass top and long black spray atomiser bulb. Attributed to Flavio Poli. Measures 55mm in diameter at base and 85mm in diameter at most bulbous central area.
  • Modern cased sterling silver pickle fork. Very elegant and sturdy solid sterling silver pickle fork in a lovely case. Fully hallmarked to the handle for Sheffield assay c1989 and made by Francis Howard LTD. (Would make a great chip fork as well!) Fork measures 175mm long and weighs 41.5gms.
  • Mid century modern perfume atomiser by Murano. A beautiful piece of Sommerso glass art in shades of clear amber and pale green with a brass top and long spray atomiser in black. Interesting shape with 4 sides giving a look akin to squashed bubble. Measures 52mm in diameter at base and 105mm at bulbous central area.
  • c1853 Sterling silver fruit strainer spoon. Very fine quality & beautifully crafted sterling silver fruit strainer spoon in a vine pattern. The handle is made to resemble vine stalks and leaves with an extended vine leaf design for the spoon bowl which is finished in gilt. Full hallmark to the top vine leaf for Birmingham assay and made by Hilliard & Thomason. Spoon bowl measures 45mm by 40mm.
