  • Sterling silver octagonal compact with engine turned pattern to lid c1949 Birmingham assayed by Turner & Simpson Measures 100mm in diameter
  • c1804 Sterling silver caddy spoon. Antique King George III sterling silver caddy spoon assayed in London by Peter, Ann & William Bateman. Full hallmark to the back of the handle. Caddy bowl measures approximately 46mm by 38mm and 12mm in depth.
  • c1940 Sterling silver sugar basin. Petite sterling silver sugar basin with a plain body and classical handles with leaf design to the tops of each. Full hallmark for Chester assay to just below the rim. Measures 120mm from edge of handle to handle, 58mm across the top, base measures 46mm by 38mm, 63mm high from base to lip of basin and 85mm high from top of handle to base.
  • Very small antique sterling silver patch pot c1816 Birmingham assay by Samuel Pemberton. Decoration to the lid with patch design to the lid. Hallmark to both inside halves. Small dint to the base. Measures 24mm in diameter and 6mm deep.
  • Antique sterling silver cigarette case by Joseph Gloster. c1901 Birmingham assay. Intricate silverwork decoration to both sides of outer case with empty cartouche for personalisation. Interior is gilt silver with elastic to one side only. Full & short hallmark to interior and lion passant stamp to thumb grip on exterior. Closes tight with no gaps.
  • Antique sterling silver desk top thermometer paperweight. c1909 mercury filled desktop Fahrenheit thermometer with brass face within a sterling silver frame. Some dinks to the silver frame especially around the top. Hallmark to outer rim of frame for Birmingham assay and made by Henry Clifford Davis. Measures 82mm in diameter at base, 67mm at top and thermometer face measures 55mm.
  • Antique sterling silver pepper pot. Elaborately decorated silver pepper pot made by Charles Fox and assayed in London c1838. Pull off top with full hallmark on the inside rim. Measures 40mm in diameter at base.
  • Modernist sterling silver salt and spoon. A solid salt in a triangular shape with original spoon and blue glass liner. Full hallmark to the side for London assay and made by C. J. Vander c1970. Spoon has a gilt bowl and measures 70mm long. Small chip to the blue glass liner.
  • Cased set of 6 Japanese cocktail spoons each with a different Oriental decoration on the handle tip. Hallmarked sterling 950 Each spoon measures 190mm in length Total spoons weight 44gms
  • 19th century Chinese bronze head. A very heavy and well made bronze head of a Chinese man (possibly deity Shou or Juroujin) in a brass finish. No markings. Attachment for hanging attached. Drop length 185mm.

  • Pair of Edwardian bonbon dishes. 2 identical bonbon dishes with different assay offices and makers. Sheffield assay c1901 by Henry Aitken and London assay c1902 by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. Some minor signs of wear and a few minor dings consistent with the antique status of the dishes. Each dish measures approximately 97mm by 52mm at the base 62mm by 70mm at the top. Height at middle 30mm and at raised ends 43mm.
  • Antique sterling silver milk or cream jug. Aesthetically stunning jug by Thomas Bradbury of London c1904. Full hallmark to back of jug by handle. Base measures 63mm by 44mm, 110mm at widest from tip of spout to handle edge and 136mm at tallest at handle.

Lovely engine turned design to both sides with an empty cartouche to the lid for personalisation. Worn gilt interior with elastic intact. Hallmark to both inside covers and a lion passant on the opening lip.
  • Pair of antique sterling silver toast racks. Small but sweet pair of toast racks. c1899 Birmingham assay and made by William Hutton. Each toast rack measures 72mm long, 47mm wide and 85mm tall at central point.

  • c1853 Sterling silver fruit strainer spoon. Very fine quality & beautifully crafted sterling silver fruit strainer spoon in a vine pattern. The handle is made to resemble vine stalks and leaves with an extended vine leaf design for the spoon bowl which is finished in gilt. Full hallmark to the top vine leaf for Birmingham assay and made by Hilliard & Thomason. Spoon bowl measures 45mm by 40mm.

  • Art Deco silver topped cased bottles. A very practical cased set of 2 small half bottles with silver tops. Each bottle has sterling silver screw tops with original glass stoppers and own slot to keep secure within the case when in transit. Most likely used for cologne. Each bottle measures 53mm wide, 27mm deep at middle and 90mm tall. Full hallmark to each silver top for London assay c1926.

  • Set of 6 mid century coffee spoons. Lovely set of 6 gilt sterling silver and enamel coffee spoons by Egon Lauridsen of Denmark in original case. Each spoon with a different colour enamel to the handle. Hallmarked Ela Denmark Sterling 925S to the back. Each spoon measure approximately 93mm long and weighs 7.6gms.
  • Antique Art Nouveau pewter pin tray. A rare and very lovely decorative pewter pin tray of a young lady seated on the back of a peacock gazing into a mirror. The tray area is plumes of the peacocks fanned out feathers. Lots of attention to detail in this piece. Is she looking at herself or the peacock in the mirror? 95% pewter (Zinn 95%)
  • Antique small bronze figure of a frog in sumo pose. Fabulously detailed small bronze of a frog clad in sumo 'Tsuna' (rope) garment and seen in a typical sumo pose. Has a slight wobble when standing so not quite a yokozuna.
  • c1875 Small sterling silver jug. Very sweet and finely decorated small jug by Barnard & Sons Ltd. Full hallmark to the base for London assay. Stunning piece with empty cartouche to either side for personalisation. Measures 40mm in diameter at the base, 85mm from tip of spout to edge of handle and 45mm across the top.
  • 1950s Steinböck Studio lidded pot. Beautiful enamel pot in a creamy off white, hand-painted with a floral design in vibrant greens and blues & all accentuated with 24 karat gold leaf. In excellent condition throughout with no damage to the enamel just wear of the gold leaf around the pot opening as would be expected. Steinböck mark to the base. Measures approximately 64mm in diameter.
  • Vintage dragonfly on lotus root stand. A lovely small bronze pen or brush stand in the form of a dragonfly alighted on a length of lotus root. Fine quality piece. Stamp signature to the base. Measures approximately 90mm at longest, 20mm at widest and 36mm at tallest.

  • Antique apostle set in sterling silver. A complete set of 6 apostle teaspoons with tongs & sifter/strainer. Each item has scalloped bowls with twist handles. Full hallmark to each piece for Birmingham assay c1901. The case lid has one side edge missing and is missing the hinges so not attached to the base. Spoons measure 102mm long, tongs measure 90mm long and the sifter measures 103mm long.
  • Antique cased set of silver salts and spoons. A lovely pair of sterling silver salts and spoons each fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay and made by Lee and Wigfull (Henry Wigfull) c1907. Missing glass bowls to each. Each salt measures 53mm equilaterally, 40mm tall and weighs 36.2gms. Each spoon measures 65mm long and weigh 7.3gms. Case interior in lovely condition, exterior has signs of wear.
  • c1907 Birmingham assayed sterling silver and cut glass inkwell and stand. The cut glass inkwell sits securely in the hole in the centre of the stand. Inkwell weighs 190.6grams and measures 52mm x 45mm and 70mm tall. Stand measures 150mm long (including handles), 110mm wide & weighs 95grams
  • George III sterling silver decanter label. Antique sterling silver decanter label for brandy. Full hallmark and makers mark to the back (Probably George Knight, London c1812) Label measures 44mm by 25mm. Drop length approximately 70mm from centre top of chain to top edge of label.
  • Antique 2 handled sterling silver pot. Small 2 handled sterling silver pot with intricate relief pattern around the lower bulbous area. One cartouche has a profile of a medieval knight engraved to it while other cartouche is empty - for a damsel perhaps? Shapely handles and rim add to the elegance of this piece. Full hallmark to the base for London assay c1875. Made by Francis Higgins. Base measures 55mm in diameter, width across handles measures approximately 105mm and opening at top 60mm in diameter.
  • Antique Stewart Dawson kangaroo ornament. A small heavy kangaroo in standing position by Stewart Dawson. Assumed solid silver plate although no visible hallmarks whatsoever. Signed Stewart Dawson to the base of tail. c1900s Measures 85mm at longest from tip of foot to tail, 28mm at widest across hips and 98mm at tallest from ground to tip of ear.
  • Sterling silver finger purse or handbag assayed in Birmingham and made by F. D. Long c1916. This bag has seen a lot of usage with several dinks throughout and would have had a lining inside which is now missing. Full hallmark with makers initials on one side and lion passant & date letter hallmark to other side. There is also a lion passant on the ring. Drop length from ring is 195mm.
  • Sterling silver sauce boat with 2 handles and spouts. Nice solid piece of London assayed sterling silver with a wonderful geometric form that is typical of the Deco era. Full hallmark to the side c1928. Measures 54mm in diameter at base, 120mm from spout to spout and 125mm from handle to handle and 85mm tall at handles.
  • A modern sterling silver filled candlestick. Nice solid and weighty candlestick fully hallmarked around the base for Sheffield assay c2000 and made by Carr's. Also useful as a trinket dish (but mind your fingers!) The top dish is removable for cleaning by unscrewing the spike. Measures 117mm in diameter at base and 100mm at top.
  • Harrods hallmarked set of 3 sterling silver decanter labels. One each for sherry, port and brandy. Each label fully hallmarked RWB for Harrods with London assay marks c1938. Each label measures 38mm long by 12mm
  • Cased set of 4 silver bridge pencils. Lovely vintage set of 4 pencils with different coloured ends in black, green, blue & red. Each pencil marked sterling silver and measures 95mm long and weighs 6.5gms

  • c1905 antique sterling silver bonbon dish. Nice size scallop edged bonbon dish on 4 ball feet with central handle. Height with handle extended out 125mm. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield assay and made by Atkin Brothers
  • Set of 8 vintage American corn on the cob holders in the form of corn. Each holder is hallmarked sterling on both sides of corn husk and measures approximately 72mm in length. Comes in original box which has been written on to identify contents! There is some minor staining to a few of the pieces.
  • Antique sterling silver table light. Beautifully crafted small sterling silver oil light in the form of Aladdin's lamp. Fully hallmarked to the base for Sheffield assay c1913 and made by Roberts & Belk. (Extra hallmark stamp on this piece-very special!) Measures 52mm by 37mm at base, 112mm at longest from handle to tip of spout, 55mm at widest, 68mm tall at finial and 70mm at tallest.
