Art Deco

  • Art Deco cherry bakelite necklace. Lovely Art Deco graduating faceted cherry bakelite necklace with metal links separating each bead. There is no clasp as necklace is long and can fit over the head. The largest bead measures 30mm long and 20mm wide. 60 grams.
  • Set of 4 Art Deco menu holders. Wonderful set of 4 sterling silver game bird menu holders in original case. Each item is hallmarked to the base for Edinburgh assay and made by Brook & Son c1937. Some minor signs of wear to outside of box. The base of each measures 45mm by 30mm. Lovely gift item.
  • Oriental lantern style light shade c1920s. Orient inspired Art Deco light shade in glass and metal. The panels are of frosted glass with identical coloured image to the central area of a rural scene at sunset. There are some very minor signs of wear consistent with age. The gap for light at top of shade is 30mm in diameter. The top widest area of shade is 130mm square.
  • Art Deco peridot and diamond ring. Large fine oval cut peridot ring with 3 small round cut diamonds to each shoulder. Tested for platinum no marks. Ring size N / 6.75. Ring weight 4.6gms.
  • Pair of Art Deco small blue glass vases. Lovely pair of identical small light blue glass vases in a classic Art Deco shape. Thinner at the base with fan like shape to the top. Base measures 65mm by 58mm, top at widest measures 90mm, depth at 48mm. (515gms).
  • 1930s oak biscuit barrel. Very well crafted heavy oak biscuit barrel with gilt silver plate barrel hoops and lid giving a brassy look which complinents the oak. Ceramic interior. Marked EPNS (electroplated nickel silver) on the top and bottom hoop and to inside of lid. Empty shield cartouche for personalisation. Measures 125mm in diameter at base and approximately 135mm in diameter at widest at the barrel centre.
  • Pair of Art Deco liqueur glasses. Pretty pair of funky Art Deco liqueur glasses with pink and blue candy stripes flowing from one side to the other. A nice weighty glass with double ridge to the glass bottom making them very easy to hold. As they are handmade, there is a slight size difference as well as colour/width of the blue and pink stripes. Measures approximately 52mm at base, 45mm at top and 140mm tall.
  • Coloured glass light shade from the 1930s. Vintage glass shade with a base background of white with orange and blue to the upper area. Nice aesthetic square shape with curves at the sides of the bottom edges.
  • 18 karat gold and platinum ring. Art Deco ring in 18 karat gold set with 8 small old mine rose cut diamonds and a 3 point ruby on a square platinum mount. Ring face measures 8mm square and weighs 2.1gms. Ring size N / 6.75
  • Art Deco fabric evening bag. Lovely small evening bag in a patterned beige fabric and a carved jet clasp with marcasite embellishment. The bag interior has some signs of wear with some stains and tearing of the lining. It houses an attached coin purse located in centre of bag and a small side pocket with a cloth covered small mirror enclosed. The mirror is very cloudy. Drop length approximately 310mm and width 190mm. Depth can extend to around 80mm.
  • Art Deco style silver and onyx brooch. Timeless geometric Deco design brooch in sterling silver with a large black onyx cabochon to the centre and framed with an intricate marcasite surround. Hallmarked 925 to the back. All marcasite present. The onyx cabochon measures 26mm by 18mm.
  • Art Deco sterling silver bowl. Fabulous octagonal 2 handled footed bowl by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths c1930 Sheffield assay. Very typical of Art Deco era with aesthetically pleasing design and functional practicality. Nice scalloped pattern to 6 sides. Fully hallmarked to the base. Foot base measures 114mm in diameter. Weighs 586 grams.

Art Deco cut glass scent bottle with a sterling silver screw top finished with purple guilloche enamel at the top. In excellent condition throughout. Full hallmark to side of top for London assay c1927 with makers initials CD.
  • Art Deco cocktail watch in 835 silver with marcasite to the front. Watch face is marked 17 rubis EB Suisse. Worn inscription on the back which is difficult to read - last line reads Brooklyn PA. 835 silver hallmark to the back. Nice watch that keeps good time with clasp in good working order. Watch face is tiny & measures approximately 10 by 8mm.
  • Unsigned sterling silver brooch by Bernard Instone. Simple and elegant Art Deco bar brooch with blue and gold enamel disc to the centre. Hallmarked sterling silver to the back. Inner disc area with enamel measures 9mm and outer circle measures 14mm.
  • A single sterling silver toast rack in a typical aesthetic Art Deco design. Full hallmark to one side for the silver jubilee of King George V c1935. Length from handle to handle at top is 95mm.
  • Art Deco double snake ring in 9 karat gold c1921. Each snake has an oval cut garnet to the top of their heads with small round cut diamonds for eyes. There is unusually a full hallmark on each of the 3 joined inner bands. Ring size V / 10.5

  • Art Deco graduated pearl necklace. Stunning necklace with 3 strands of graduated pearls and a paste stone encrusted clasp. Unidentifiable hallmark to back of clasp. Made in France. Shell shaped box included but not original. Shortest strand measures approximately 420mm and longest 450mm. Necklace weight 47gms.
  • 3 Art Deco cut crystal hock glasses. Lovely set of 3 hock glasses in a beautiful green to the top & bottom rims and a faceted detail to the centre of glass bowl. Etched vine design in the top green rim and clear stems and bases. Made by John Walsh. Each glass measures approximately 60mm in diameter at base and top and 150mm tall. Weight varies slightly with each glass with lightest at 123gms and heaviest at 152gms.
  • Art Deco sterling silver tazza. Very sweet tazza with pierced work to the top of the bowl. Made by Adey Bros Ltd of Birmingham and dates to 1927. Full hallmark to the outside of bowl. Measures 55mm in diameter at base and 95mm at opening at top.

    Pair of Art Deco glass side dishes. Handmade small shallow dishes with an unusual colour pattern of pale blue star burst to the centre and yellow green rim. Some minor signs of wear. Each dish measures approximately 100mm in diameter at base, 165mm across the top and 15mm in depth.
  • c1923 to 1927 small Royal Doulton bowl. Pretty bowl in iconic Doulton colours. Marked 8200 and accredited to artist Louisa Ayling. Measures approximately 85mm in diameter at base and 110mm across the top.
