Main photo of Dutch silver ladle spoon leaning upright against a rock of natural lapis lazuli. The spoon bowl has a skirted rim which is separated from the centre of bowl with silver 'jewel' (dots) The windmill takes pride of place in the bowl centre with other buildings in the background which include a church. Just before the tip of the handle there is am elaborate piece of pierced silver a little like a fob on a watch chain which acts as a stabiliser for the hook back. The handle tip has a figure of what appears to be a schoolboy with satchel although could also be a postman perhaps. A lovely item for any silver collection and a lovely gift piece.
