The cranes are an off white colour with strips of black and there is a sense of movement in their flight. A truly wonderful piece.

Main photo of Victorian brass vesta box seen with top closed and the box frontage facing very slightly off to the left. The box is basically shaped like a trunk and is of good solid quality. The feet are chevron shaped although this is only visible from the base and protrude a little from the box base. The box is displayed in front of a rock of natural desert sand rose which is partially reflected in the box lid.

This piece of studio art is incredible. The bird looks as though it would be warm and soft if touched, the tin can looks like it would be cold and hard and the rocks smooth and cool. Even the sparrows eye looks as though it will move any moment. Incredibly realistic fabulous piece!

The earrings construction begins with an 18 karat gold hook fastener. Am oval iolite cabochon with a small round cut diamond to the centre is first followed below it by a larger round cut diamond divider. At the bottom of the earring is a square iolite cabochon set with one corner at top like diamond shape and there is another small round cut diamond to the centre of this. The iolite is a beautiful darker blue with tinges of purple in certain light.
