Victorian sterling silver spirit cup in the form of a thimble with raised wording at top of cup reading “Just A Thimbleful”. Shield shaped empty cartouche for personalisation. c1876 Birmingham assayed by Samuel Clark. Lovely piece of historic Victorian humour? Has been well loved & used with a few dinks. Gilt interior in good condition. Measures 18mm in diameter at base and 42mm across the top.
