Charlotte Rhead Art Deco Sandwich Set
Art Deco sandwich set by Charlotte Rhead. A pretty and practical set comprising of a serving plate/tray with 2 shallow dish shaped plates connected with a handle to the centre and 6 small square side plates. Hand-painted in cheerful bright vibrant colours to cheer up any occasion. Design number 4133 ‘New Jazz’ pattern c1928-1929. Each piece marked with the green Burleigh ware stamp with Rhead signature on the base of the serving plate. Visible crazing to each piece and some wear around the edge, especially around serving plate.
Each small plate measure 145mm square and the serving plate/tray measures 330mm long,150mm wide and approximately 50mm tall by handle.
