Kneeling deer brooch Georg Jensen. Sterling silver brooch of a kneeling deer designed by Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen. Crafted in an Art Deco style. This design was produced between the years 1936 to 1944 and 1949 to 1965. This brooch dates to c1950s. Fully hallmarked to the back. Main photo showing the whole brooch looking straight on from the front. The head of the deer is on the left but it is facing backwards towards its tail. The front legs are folded whilst the hind legs are upright and the tail is facing up. There are 4 circular flowers or leaves, one each to the north, east, south and west all set within an oval shaped frame.
