c1872 Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette. A sweet rectangular vinaigrette decorated on both sides with a vacant cartouche for personalisation. A flower decorates the inner grille. Fully hallmarked to the inside lid as well as lower section. Assayed in Birmingham by Frederick Marson. In excellent condition.

The c1872 sterling silver vinaigrette is a quality piece of silver with an assay mark for Birmingham and is the work of Frederick Marston. The beautiful little vinaigrette is highly decorative featuring delicate engravings of flowers on its top and inner grille. The vinaigrette has a matching hallmark visible under the lid and on the inner base. This quality item would be a wonderful addition to a collector of antique silver items and a fantastic gift idea!
