Lovely scrollwork design to the main body with a plain silver top which could be personalised if required. Gilt silver interior. Full hallmark in the scrollwork at base and short hallmark to inside rim. Measures 33mm in diameter. Assumed to be a copy of an earlier Georgian example. Hallmarked for London assay c1981. 28grams. Photo of leg tamper laid on its side with the boot end on the right. The leg /boot is forward facing. Vintage sterling silver booted leg shaped pipe tamper. A solid sterling silver novelty pipe tamper in the form of a highway mans boot wearing leg! Assumed to be a copy of an earlier Georgian example. The leg is bent at the knee and the top of the boot provides a natural grip handle when tampering the pipe. The boot is very realistic with ruched areas above the heel area.

  • Czech made Chřibská glass bowl. Eye catching vibrant pink iris flower shaped bowl with a purple centre. Most probably manufactured for use as an ashtray, it will enhance any home as a piece of art glass. Designed by Josef Hospodka c1964-1970. There are some minor signs of wear especially scratch marks to the base and a small nick as seen in photo. Photo looking down at the bowl straight down from above. There are 3 'petals' one in top right, one in bottom right and one to centre left of the photo. The outer areas of the bowl are in pink while the centre is purple. Small narrow channels are visible at the outside centre of each petal where cigarettes were placed in its past life as an ashtray! (Still can be an ashtray) Colours are amazing - like a strawberry jelly dessert!
