New Hall were pioneers in hard paste porcelain clearly a design quality that withstood the test of time. The base colour is white with minimal floral design mostly in pink to the main body. Around the outer rim at the top, there is a band of pink netting like pattern which continues around the outside of the teapot lid. The stand, which would be mostly obscured by the teapot, almost mirrors the teapot design pattern.

The 'window' with flowers has a white background and there is a mixed bunch of flowers here in pink, blue, red, yellow and purple. Lovely gilt work extends over all the green turquoise area with dots and swirls. The base is white and moulded shape like sea froth with some gilt work. The top of the vase flutes outward with scalloped edge. The vase is in lovely condition but for the gilt wear around the rim which is quite extensive but could easily be touched up by someone with steady hands. Very pretty vase with or without flowers.

Main photo of 19th century lidded pot seen from an eye level and displayed with the window of different floral bouquet on show and the small window of pink rose and yellow flowers on the lid. The bouquet of flowers include a large pink rose to the centre with blue/purple daisy like small flowers spray above, yellow and orange flowers to the right and a small short string of fuchsia like flowers along the bottom left. The 'window' is framed in gilt with an outer line of gilt jewels (or dots). Approximately at the mid section of this window, a white band extends round from both sides and connects to the other 'window' opposite. This band also has gilt frame to top and bottom and a design of foliage with small red berries. The lid reflects the same layout but in 2D (flat around the outer rim of lid) The centre of the lid rises like a cake with a golden finial rising to a point at the centre. The main area of the pot and lid is in a dark lilac with criss- cross diamond shaped lines in purple. At the centre of the diamond shape is a small white dot known as oeil-de-perdrix in French (partridge eye). It is a very beautiful piece of porcelain and a delight to behold.

The blue green of the bulbous area has black dots throughout. The neck is separated from the bulbous base by a red colour with small white triangles pointed upward all the way around. These are lined in red with a red flick at the centre. The bright light leaf green neck has a few minor floral decorations and the rim of the vase has downward facing triangles mirroring the triangles at waist. The dome stand is not included.

The spout protrudes from this area and reaches up to the same level as the rim at top. The lovely curved handle starts at the top rim, extends slightly above the rim and then downward finishing on the bulbous lower area. The set is white with gilt rose decorations known as the Golden Glory pattern and gilt around the rims and handles. It is in very good condition for its age. Lovely gift item for a wedding anniversary or wedding.

Wispy white clouds are dotted about and 5 cranes are seen flying towards the left. The cranes are different in size giving depth with the largest in the foreground. They are white with black stripes to the wings. At the bottom is the sea in 2 shades of blue with yellow patches interpreted as the suns reflection on the water. The combination of grey lines in the background, wispy white clouds, black stripes on wings and the siege of cranes in flight gives this piece a mysterious movement - you feel as though you are flying with the birds. Wonderful piece of art.

The main body of the vase is in white ending in a long V shape at the base where a vibrant dark turquoise blue sits. To the side, the white V becomes inverted to an upside down blue V. Where the white is seen most, there are 2 rows pretty multicoloured small flower garlands which continue all the way around the vase. To the top, the fluted tops have perforated sides like flower petals with a single dot perforation at top of each. Each perforated area is neatly finished in gilt. Such pretty vases - flowers not required!
