The striker for this silver coloured lighter is a long roller type that extends down almost one whole corner of the lighter. The overall design of the lighter is slimline; long & slender for easy hold. It is in good working order. The Pierre Cardin logo is on the top of the flip open lid. The original box is bigger than the lighter itself although probably perfect in relevance to size. The casket sits on 4 feet which appear quite dainty for the solid and heavily embossed (repousse) casket. The base and top of lid jut out a little over the main body of the casket. The scenes on the sides show a lone bird, possible a peacock upright and looking towards the other side which shows a cockerel with 2 hens in a yard with a prowling fox on the very left. Some of the silver plate has worn off and the copper hue is coming through on the hens breasts and a small patch on the head of the cockerel and fox.
