A small Continental silver box with bas-relief image of a courting couple to the top. This highly decorated box has foliage and scrollwork detail to all sides except the base. Gilt silver to the interior and hallmark on the base (probably late 19th century Dutch). Measures 42mm long, 24mm wide and 13mm tall. Weight 23 grams.

The small Continental silver box features a highly decorative scene of a couple on the lid and decoration around sides. The silver gilt interior is in nice condition, dating to the 19th Century and originating from Holland.
A good collectable silver piece would be an excellent gift for a special occasion.
To preserve the condition of the small continental silver box, we suggest polishing it with a soft cloth to a shine.
