The colours are primarily yellow and pale green with snippets of blue, white and red on the men and brown and black of the horses. The round panels have a short chain link separating with the double chain extending as the necklace chain. The teardrop panels are attached by a single ring clasp. The small attached pendant at the very front has a vertical almond shaped stone encased in a 9 karat gold frame and a smaller round opal cabochon also encased in its own gold frame above. This short pendant is then attached to the silver chain which is barely visible here as there are gold divider beads separating the black opal beads. From the pendant area, there are 2 gold ball beads followed by 2 small black opal beads. Next is a short gold tube divider bead then a larger round opal bead. Next divider bead is an upright flat round and finally we find a bit of silver chain appearing. There are another 3 sections with gold divider beads and opals in different sequence then silver chain and clasp to finish. Nice thing about this necklace is that the main parts with the black opal and gold beads are at the front. The black opal has a beautiful lagoon blue and turquoise base colour with flecks of green and yellow and hints of pink and orange. Add to basket

The wings extend from behind the torso to the left and right and the tips of these are where the chain of the necklace is attached. 2 smaller lapis beads are added approximately 2 inches above the wing tips and then the chain continues all the way to the clasp. Above the ruby flower and multi coloured sapphire area is a bail separated section of 3 pearls (one at top and 2 below in a triangular formation) with a single pink sapphire at the centre.
