Full hallmark for London assay c1886 by Frederick Brasted. Measures 105mm in diameter at base, 50mm at top and 75mm tall. Weight 419 grams.

The antique silver mounted inkwell features the crest of Victor Albert Francis Charles Spencer (Viscount Churchill, 1902) on the lid. The squat glass body is in good condition and complements the silver lid bearing a hallmark dating from 1886.
