Asprey Silver & Crystal Inkwell
An Asprey & Co sterling silver and crystal inkwell on stand. An aesthetically appealing Arts & Crafts era cut crystal inkwell with sterling silver top on a fitted sterling silver stand by world renowned silversmiths Asprey & Co. The stand rests on 4 feet with a hole in its centre to house the crystal inkwell which has an extended crystal base which slots in. Full hallmark to outer rim of inkwell with a shorter hallmark to inside lid and another full hallmark on the stand. Birmingham assayed c1906 the inkwell measures 50mm tall excluding extension to base and approximately 45mm in diameter at widest and 32mm at opening. The stand measures 74mm long, 73mm at widest and 35mm at tallest. Total weight 177 grams.
