A pair of small Continental silver sugar tongs. Decorative pair of sugar tongs with scallop shell bowls, snakes winding up the handles and devil like figure at the top. Perhaps an implication that sugar is an evil temptation? Several hallmarks some of which are illegible. 800 grade silver. Measures 85mm long and weighs 22gms.
