The main focus of this piece is without question the pendant. The carved ruby is a deep pink-almost cerise in colour and beautifully carved into a flower which covers the whole space. Around the floral ruby is a frame of silver with an outer edge of multiple coloured sapphires which include pink, blue, yellow, white and these enhance the floral ruby further. Above the ruby flower and multi coloured sapphire area is a bail separated section of 3 pearls (one at top and 2 below in a triangular formation) with a single pink sapphire at the centre. Above this is the generously sized large bail. The snake chain is suitable for this pendant and holds the weight well.

There are 2 'frames' of gold around the large oval cut amethyst - the inner frame has 4 clips which hold the amethyst in place and which are positioned approximately at 2, 5, 7 and 10 o'clock. A second frame identical to inner frame just wider and longer, sits outside the inner frame. The chain is a nice box chain with good thickness which compliments the pendant perfectly.
