Antique Agate Pill/Snuff Box
An antique pill or snuff box with agate. A lovely 19th century small oval box with agate to top and bottom and gilt metal to the side. There is a small crack on the edge of bottom agate which has not come through to the inside. There are other minor signs of wear as well as some discolouration of the gilt metal. 19th century piece probably of Scottish origin. Measures 55mm at longest, 45mm at widest and 15mm deep.

The antique agate pill/snuff box dates from the 19th century. The small oval box features agate on the top and bottom and gilt decorations on the sides. Some minor defects include a surface crack on the agate at the bottom.
To care for the antique agate pill/snuff box, we recommend polishing it with a soft lint-free cloth.
