They are white with black stripes to the wings. At the bottom is the sea in 2 shades of blue with yellow patches interpreted as the suns reflection on the water. The combination of grey lines in the background, wispy white clouds, black stripes on wings and the siege of cranes in flight gives this piece a mysterious movement - you feel as though you are flying with the birds. Wonderful piece of art.
