A substantially sized silver mounted tourmaline specimen brooch in original fitted case c1870. The brooch measures 85mm long by 45mm wide and weighs 79 grams. The original fitted case is marked for J. R. Williams & Son of Hatton Garden and has wear to the clasp, which does not close and the base. It measures 118mm long. 72mm wide and 30mm tall.
