Meissen Small Lidded Pot
Antique Meissen small lidded pot in royal blue with gilt throughout and decorated with intricate hand-painted images of courting couples. c1815-1924. Rose bud finial intact with minor chips at the edges and some gilt wear. Measures 45mm in diameter at base, 80mm across open top and 48mm tall without lid. The lid has inside rim that sits inside the pot base with the outer rim overhanging the base. It measures 85mm in diameter, 48mm to top of rose finial. Overall height with lid in place 85mm.
