The cherries and their leaves and stems have been so realistically painted and look so lifelike there is a danger of wanting to eat them. The cherries are mainly an orange-red with a small yellow area at the top by their stem ends. The stems are a light leaf green, joined at the top by a short light brown stalk. In between each stem is a cherry leaf painted in 3 shades of green and showing the veins. A brass band hugs the 3 cherries in the middle with a small brass flower at the front opening section. The main focus of this piece is without question the pendant. The carved ruby is a deep pink-almost cerise in colour and beautifully carved into a flower which covers the whole space. Around the floral ruby is a frame of silver with an outer edge of multiple coloured sapphires which include pink, blue, yellow, white and these enhance the floral ruby further. Above the ruby flower and multi coloured sapphire area is a bail separated section of 3 pearls (one at top and 2 below in a triangular formation) with a single pink sapphire at the centre. The box has a blue exterior, an almost black blue velvet inner and white silk lined inside the lid with Garrard & Co details in gilt. The larger of the link squares are on the outer extremes and the smaller squares inside. The cufflinks design - all uniform except size - square shaped but with rounded edges. A carved rock crystal sits in the centre of each also round-cornered squares. The carving in the crystal is lines emanating from the small round cut diamond at the centre. Around the perimeter is a frame of Channel set sapphires and all set in 18 karat white gold. Each area, the diamond, the rock crystal and the sapphires are separated with a white gold frame - the frame around the diamond is plain white gold whereas the frames around the rock crystal and sapphires have notches all the way around.
